Chantal is thrilled to see her drama hit the Toronto Fringe stage with such a talented cast. The Randolph Academy grad likes to switch up her roles between acting: Shevil, Sonnets for A New Century, Blood Ties, About A Girl; writing: Close Quarters, QuarterLife, Grape Expectations, Point of View; and directing: Peter Pan Pantomime, Cinderella Pantomime.

Tim completed  his diploma in Theatre and Acting at Capilano College and BFA in Theatre and Acting at The University of British Columbia. His last project in Vancouver was a new musical he wrote the book for entitled "Shevil" which is being produced as a part of the 2015 Toronto Fringe Festival. Tim currently works as a writer and director for Provictus Pictures which focuses on short length films and web based content. He also co-wrote a version of Peter Pan this year for the Burl Oak Theater Group and the Oakville Centre of the Performing Arts. As an actor Tim has worked professionally for stage and film Past credits include Picasso at the Lapine Agile, Cherry Orchard, Village of Idiots, Our Town. He is extremely excited to be a part of this year's Fringe working hand in hand with his talented wife!

Shelly Antony graduated in May of 2014 with his M.F.A in Acting from the New School for Drama in NYC. Some of his favorite theatre roles include Banquo in Macbeth; Norbert in Blue Window and Borachio in Much Ado About Nothing and he has done readings at the Cherry Lane Theatre and with Naked Angels. He played Aathi in the film A Gun & A Ring which was selected for the Shanghai, Montreal and Kentucky International Film Festivals and he recently completed work in Reach by Matthew Huntley. Shelly is excited to be a part of the production and this year’s Fringe Festival.

This is Andrea's third Toronto Fringe appearance, following POP: The Musical in 2012 and What is The Mango Project? in 2009. Recently: Emilia in Othello (Ale House Theatre), Lizzie Borden in Blood Relations (Alumnae Theatre) and The Narrator/Mrs. Cratchit in A Christmas Carol (Alexander Showcase Theatre). A proud graduate of George Brown Theatre School and Queen's University. Thank you to the production team for taking a chance that day, and particular thanks to my support system. "Love each other. It is as simple and as difficult as that."

Katherine is an alumna of the Atlantic Acting School Conservatory in NYC. She also studied acting at Broadway's Circle in the Square, and is certified and recommended in stage combat by The Society of American Fight Directors. 

 

Katherine is a graduate of Queen's University where she performed with the Queen's Players musical sketch comedy troupe. She has recently returned to Toronto where she completed The Second City Longform Program. Katherine continues to train and perform in The Second City Conservatory Program, as well as with her alumni improv team.  

 

Katherine is thrilled to be a part of Perceptions of Love in the Pursuit of Happiness, as well as the 2015 Fringe Festival!

Hailing from Winnipeg, Genevieve is thrilled to be making her Toronto Fringe debut. Selected credits include Juliet (Romeo and Juliet), Catherine (Proof), Julia (Two Gentlemen of Verona), and Little Red (Into the Woods) Genevieve is a student at the George Brown Theatre School. Joel Fishbane is an actor, playwright, and the author of the novel The Thunder of Giants, published by St. Martin's Press and available wherever books that were reviewed by the New York Times are sold. His play Short Story Long won the Toronto Fringe New Play Contest in 2010 and he can be seen every Monday night at Stout Irish Pub hosting Headscratchers Trivia, which he creates himself using both the Internet and his own vast knowledge of random facts. Although he trained at the Randolph Dance Academy, he spent fifteen years appearing in theatres across Montreal and is pleased to finally be making his Toronto debut with Three Five Productions. Andrea is delighted to be making her debut at The Fringe Festival and brings with her training from Alumnae Theatre & Theatre Mowat. Andrea’s passion in the Arts began in 1995 when she played a part in Cole Porter's Anything Goes, performed in Clearwater, Florida. Since then, she has been a thespian enthusiast and has assisted in stage management and set construction as well as acted in shows such as West Side Story, Of Athenian Blood and The Green Harvest.

Magi is based in Toronto and works as a freelance projection, lighting and set designer. She is thrilled to be back at the Fringe for a third time with Perceptions of Love in the Pursuit of Happiness. Magi holds an M.F.A. from the Yale School of Drama. She is also a graduate of Queen's University and the Ontario College of Art and Design. Selected credits include Little Women, Marathon of Hope, Assassins, The Drowsy Chaperone, Cabaret, A New Brain and Urinetown, for Theatre Sheridan; My Name is Raj for TIFF Bell Lightbox; Body & Soul for Dove Pro-Age at Young Centre for the Performing Arts; A Christmas Carol for Theatre Calgary; Oy di velt vet vern yinger for Jumblies Theatre - Mayworks Festival; Stan Rogers ~ A Matter Of Heart for Theatre Orangeville and Thousand Islands Playhouse; Squonk Opera for Rare Gem Productions; Grimm Tales and The Vic at the George Luscombe Theatre; Midsummer Night's Dream, Celebrazio, At The Black Pig's Dyke, La Ronde, Macbeth and Lion in the Streets for Theatre Humber; The Great Highway: Zones of the Spirit at the Yale Repertory Theatre; Hamlet for Yale University Theatre. Magi worked with Cirque du Soleil as a projection consultant for "O" in Las Vegas. Magi has also worked with the Arvisura Szinhazi Tarsasag (Budapest), and the Amakhosi Theatre (Zimbabwe). Magi is currently on the full time faculty at Sheridan College and has taught in the theatre programs at the University of Guelph, York University, Humber College and Queen’s University.
